What does it take, to take good pictures? A good camera and film helps but seeing
the world artistically is really where it is at. Take good pictures for the sake of taking good
pictures. Most of all, it's the spirit of competitiveness that really will take one to the
highest levels of the craft. Treat each session as a chance to improve on previous ones
and try to take the best pictures you've ever taken. Finding people who have reasonable
attitudes and who understand your vision helps in taking people based pictures. Know
the sport you're photographing. Be patient and be willing to hold your ground. Understand
the logistics of the situation. Time is good, time means things and people change which in
turn means new opportunities. Don't have heroes, be your own hero. Have fun!
