The UFO Resource Center thanks Seattle Art Bell Chat Club for the following information regarding the "hidden sayings of Jesus" found in the "Gospel According To Thomas." This book is not found in the HOLY BIBLE, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the book isn't legitimate.
The Seattle Metaphyscial Library has a copy of the book "The Gospel of Thomas" - the hidden sayings of Jesus which is mentioned and is much of the basis and script for the movie "Stigmata".
Its true, the book is not recognized by the Vatican.
Glenn Kimball, ancient manuscript historian and author who has been on Art Bell talked about this very book during his presentation for the club this summer. It is from the Nag Hammadi library discovered in 1945 and is the sayings from the living Jesus. The pypyrus pages of the Gospel of Thomas are currently housed at the Coptic museum in Old Cairo, Egypt. Kimball also presented to the library another set of ancient manuscript books in addition to talking about the more gory historical details of the crucifixtion.
