This idea is called the V-chip, this idea does have some flaws to it though, and it is still in the beginning stages, but is out there if you are interested in it. If your T.V had the V-chip and your children wanted to watch a certain show which was prohibited on their T.V they could go watch it somewhere else, so there are many flaws to this program. If the V-chip went into action it would have to be in every house to be effective. Hi-tech tools can help parents monitor what their children are watching. The V-chip, allows the TV to be programmed to block shows that are rated high in violence, sex, or other material not suited for your children.
