The book has been nominated for a Pulitzer Prize in Fiction. Pulitzer Prizes are awarded by the Columbia University School of Journalism, in New York City. This is a remarkable achievement for a first time author. The nomination committee is currently reviewing all nominations, and will announce finalists in the early spring. In the late spring, the final awards will be made from among these finalists.
