CHARLES E. CURTICE was commissioned into "A" Company, Wisconsin 4th Cavalry as a Captain on April 25, 1861. He was discharged on February 10, 1863 and then commissioned as a Major in the U.S. Volunteers Paymaster's Department in Whitewater, Wisconsin. He resigned on February 18, 1865.
