In Memoriam

One day as you rest in your quiet garden,

As the gentle rains of autumn fall

And the rustle of leaves disturb the air.

Remember us who fell like spring blossoms

Throught storms of fire and steel.

Our dreams and loves never to be.

Our lives returned to dust.

Remember us who carried your sword

To die upon the altar.

We your servants

The soldiers of your land.
