" ANZAC Day"

On the beaches of Gallipoli,
And fighting on the Somme,
Those cocky hearted legends,
Fought for their kingdom.

On the sandy plains of Palastine,
And in the slush of France,
They fell with their faces to the foe,
And danced the deadly dance.

On the hill tops and in the valleys,
And across no-man's land,
Thickly lies their blood of love,
On the grasses and in the sand.

So on this day of all days,
This one day of the year,
We remember those who fell,
And those who left with tears.
