The forehand is probably any tennis players favorite shot to hit. It's also the easiest to break down in
a match. Consider the following tips to help you out in your next match.
THE BACKHAND
The backhand is the more difficult groundstroke to hit. The majority of people use the 2 handed backhand but
some use the one handed.
THE VOLLEY AND OVERHEAD
The volley and overhead is one of those shots that people seem to avoid. Hitting a overhead is
difficult because you need precise timing, power and placement. The volley is avoided by many
players because they don't have the reaction times to hit a solid volley.
THE MENTAL GAME
The mental game of tennis is probably the most overlooked part of the game today. Most people go
out and play brain dead tennis. All they do is try to hit the ball over the net. If your that type of
player, stop it! You will play much better with a strategy and game plan.
