How would you like to make this Christmas a classic? Perhaps create a bit of nostalgia with a naturally grown noble fir - the traditional German candle lit tree which inspired the carol "O Tannenbaum."
This graceful evergreen, prized for its sturdy open branches, grows wild only in a narrow coastal belt of the Pacific Northwest.
The bluish-green needles of the noble fir curve upward and are arranged on the twig very densely and irregularly, making for a lush and soft bough.
These 2-11 ft Tannenbaums are cut and shipped same day as ordered. This custom process comes to you from Olympia, Washington - a climate ideal for raising superior fir tree varieties.
Douglas, Fraser and Grand Fir trees are also available.
Our growing and harvesting process is achieved through coppicing. This is an environmentally friendly method, consisting of cutting back a tree near the base, keeping the roots intact, thereby allowing new shoots to sprout to form another tree. Its original pyramidal form is reached through light hand pruning.
