Fatima al Zahra (a.s), is the daughter of Prophet Muhammad (a.s) and Khadija (a.s), the great lady and spiritual mother of the faithful ones. Fatima al Zahra (a.s), was born on the 20^th of Jumaada al-thaani, five (5) years after her father took his prophet hood. Born in the city of Makkah, in Saudia Arabia. She had a lot of her fathers traits, of being noble, kindness, and being a great person like her father. Her father, the blessed prophet (a.s) had given her the title of being, "Leader of the ladies of the worlds." She married Imam Ali (a.s), all the 11 Imams are her sons, grandsons and great grandsons. Her life was very short, she died at the young age of 18, on the 3^rd of Jumaada al-thaani, in the 11^th of Hijrah (Islamic Calendar). Her husband had prepared her body for burial and fulfilling her last wish in not letting anyone know where she is laid to rest. Fatima al Zahra (a.s) was loved greatly by her father. She and Imam Ali (a.s) had two sons, Imam Hassan and Imam Hussain and also Muhsin who was premature and did not survive, and they had two daughters Zainab and Ummi Kulthum, peace and blessings be upon them all.
