First produced by the Denver  Center for the Performing Arts in 1993, The Living is a riveting drama based on the journals and documents of the citizens of London during the plague summer of 1665. The dialogue crackles with pathos, wit, and sometimes even outright humor as Clarvoe takes the audience into the hearts and minds of those who survived, as well as those who did not. Winner of multiple awards in the eastern and mid-western United States, it has never received a full production on this side of the Rocky Mountains.

Now, the talented ensemble of Spirit Theater under the direction of one of the play's original designers, Joel Underwood, creates a new dramatic event which will be talked about long after the last fade to black.
