| Shogun is a medium-contact live-combat LARP based on feudal Japan and is played in northeast
Illinois. In this game, great emphasis is put on combat skills, cunning, and
character interaction. Players are free to establish characters as they wish
throughout the game and choose their own paths. This is not the type of LARP
where a party of adventurers are guided through a pre-established plot and face encounters with monsters. Rather, Shogun uses a dynamic character class system
that reflects the power struggles for the Shogunate in feudal Japan. |
