Thinking Day Helps & Links

What is Thinking Day?

On February 22nd all around the World,
Girl Guides and Girl Scouts,
celebrate the Guiding/Scouting organization in other Countries.

Why February 22nd?

This date was selected as it is the joint Birthday of
Lord Baden-Powell & Lady Baden-Powell,
the initial founders of the Guiding/Scouting movement.

Isn't that the same thing as Girl Scout Birthday?

No...
Girl Scout Birthday is a celebration of the first GS Meeting
that was held in Savannah, Georgia on March 12th 1912.

How do we learn about other Countries?

Hopefully the links provided here, will give you information not only on the other Countries, but also a look at their Guiding/Scouting Promise & Laws, and even a look at their Uniforms and Pins

Thanks to all who helped make this page possible, by providing the Links. It is hoped that the links provided here will be of help to everyone in their quest for a successful Thinking Day Celebration.
