Nemesis was originated and tied by contributing fly tyer Jamie Webb. He writes about it, "John Newbury inspired me to tie it after a chat conversation we had one night. It started off as a spey-type fly, but the orange spey hackle I had just didn't measure up (I boo booed while dyeing it) and chose a long cock hackle instead. It is a steelhead fly that would do double duty for Atlantics I believe."
