Cascade Shrimp - Variant was tied by Salmonfly.Net Contributing Fly Tyer, Monte Smith. This is a variation of the Scottish shrimp (a favorite Atlantic Salmon fly) tied on a double hook that easily makes the crossover as a Steelhead fly. Check your regulations, though before fishing a a double hook for Steelhead.

You can see more of the flies tied by Monte Smith and many of his own designs at The Flies of Monte Smith.
