The Kilchis Green (Youngers)

Name The Kilchis Green (Youngers)
Category Pacific Salmon (Chum)
Thread Red
Body Chartreuse Floss (I tied this with an underbody of flat silver tinsel)
Wing Lime Green Krystal Flash
Collar Chartreuse Hen Hackle
Head Chartreuse

Although, it may be past Chum season where you are, I thought I'd show this fly. Keep it in mind for next year. The Kilchis Green was developed by Oregon guide Rich Youngers and displayed on his Creekside Angling website. I hope he doesn't mind, me plugging his site, but I'd recommend visiting. He has some excellent articles about fly fishing for salmon and steelhead.

This fly is similar to the Kilchis Killer developed by Northwest Fly Fisherman/Author John Shewey and shows the popularity of this color combination when fishing for chums.
