Chum Candy

Name Chum Candy
Category Pacific Salmon
Hook Tiemco 7999
Thread Hot Pink
Wing Pink Marabou with Several Strands Matching Krystal Flash
Collar Purple Saddle Hackle or Schlappen

I'm not sure who developed this fly, but it is a close relative of the George Cook Alaskabou Flies. The colors are good colors for chum salmon, second only to chartreuse, making this a great attractor for that species. Fish it by quartering downstream and retrieve in short strips to take advantage of the action of the marabou.
