Ken Broadhead Flies
Sakasa Kebari (variations)
These Sakasa Kebari variations were tied by Ken Broadhead. You will find many more of his exceptional flies at The Flies of Ken Broadhead.
Ken's Notes: These flies are called Sakasa Kebari (reverse hackle fly), similar to my funnel flies. I haven't fished the steelhead version but the trout version is a killer. On the steelhead fly I used a blind fly hook. I simply cut and debur any standard hook. For the eye, I use griffins silk bead cord #2 or #4. Although available in many colors I use white and color it with sharpies.
