The Orange Bunny Fur Comet
An Original Pattern by Ard Stetts

Orange Bunny Fur Comet

Name The Orange Bunny Fur Comet
Category Pacific Salmon
Hook Single salmon
Thread Black
Eyes Heavy nickel plated zinc dumbbell eyes
Tail A few strands of orange & green crystal flash
Body A strip of dyed orange bunny fur tied with a bit extending as a tail and then wound forward to form the body. Tied off at the eyes or wrapped around them.

The Orange Bunny Fur Comet was designed and tied by Salmonfly.Net Contributing Fly Tyer and author, Ard Stetts. You can see more of Ard's flies at The Flies of Ard Stetts. See his notes about this fly below.

Ard's Notes: This fly has no classic appearance at all to speak of but remains a go to when fishing for King, Sockeye and Silvers. It has also taken numerous rainbow as a surprise by-catch when dead drifted near salmon. I have seen many similar flies for sale and have no idea of its origination.
