From England For Patricia Howe
Your poems came in the mail today,
an unexpected offering from across the sea
to warm me on a cold morning.
Your poems conjure memories and raindrops;
opportunity, escape, and a tiger in a storm;
the wildly wicked night and what fools should see.
Though your poems spring from a distant shore,
the words you write are a delightful reminder -
there is more good in the world than not.
