            Disappearing Act

            Bubbles ascend
            from the place
            where my hands
            used to be.

            They pop
            without sound
            when the lad
            with the pin
            sticks it in.

            A tyke
            with marmalade hair
            cries from six eyes
            when the last disappears.

            Bubbles ascend
            from the place
            where my head
            used to be . . .
