This piece has eleven crows, some hidden in the artwork, and references to a 300 year-old children's crow-counting nursery rhyme
referred to as "One for Sorrow" of which there are dozens of variations.
One such modern variation is: "One for sorrow, two for joy, three for a girl, four for a boy, five for silver, six for gold, seven for a secret, never to be told.
Eight for a wish, nine for a kiss, ten for a bird, you must not miss.
It is best displayed in a wallspace measuring about 32" wide by 35" high. There is a certificate and hanging instructions on the back.
