To use any of the following cheat codes, just hit the ENTER key and type in the code then hit ENTER again. To turn the cheat off again, just repeat the process.
•DAY - Turns the entire map landscape to a lighter color. O.K., now you've got the list of cheat codes. There are a couple of points that I would like to
convey regarding these and any other cheat codes you may discover. Point number one: Besides ON SCREEN, SHOWPATH will also display the map. However, because it
does not act as if you have explored the map yourself, your units will
act as if moving into an unknown territory. If making an
assault under SHOWPATH and you select an enemy unit to attack within the
`shadowed' areas, your unit will merely move like a scout and end up
being surprised and slaughtered. Although you know where the enemy is,
your units don't! Point number two: Some of them, such as DISCO, UCLA or NETPROF, are obviously there as jokes. However,
any code that involves an increase in gold, lumber, or oil will also
give that same amount to each of your opponents! Now that you know the secrets behind the WarCraft II cheat codes, be
sure to pass these added details along to anyone who will listen. The
more information that the players have, the less frustration desperate
newcomers to WarCraft will encounter. Bullshit?-press enter and type:BIG BRUISER and be able to a huge 9
headed monster with four arms that can smash through the
enemy's walls.Only the orc's can get the monster,for the
humans type:METAL HEAD and get a large robot but it takes
five men to run it it's slower than the orc's beast.

Here's the colour thing: edit your war2.ini file through the DOS editor (Has to be the DOS editor otherwise it won't work).
Edit the section called "name = (whatever your name is)"
Remember these colours:
"ctrl+C" = red
"ctrl+D" = White
"ctrl+F" = Black
"ctrl+E" = grey
"ctrl+B" = yellow
"ctrl+L" = clear
these are the only letters that work, trust me I tried them all, the others just screw up your game. To enable the changing, type a 'dummy' letter before the letter whose colour you want changed then highlight that 'dummy' letter (it will make all letters to the right of it that colour unless you make another colour change to the right of that one). Hit ctrl-P then hit one of the colours (ctrl+c, d, f, e, etc) a poker symbol should appear in the place of that letter.
That's it, good luck!
