07/08/08 Green River to Perform at SP20 The legendary Green River will be reuniting and performing at SP20, the
Sub Pop Records 20th anniversary festival, at Marymoor Park on Sunday, July 13th!
Formed in 1984 and broken up by the end of 1987, members of Green River included
Mark Arm, Jeff Ament, Steve Turner, Stone Gossard, Bruce Fairweather,
and Alex Vincent - all six of whom will be performing together at SP20. The
festival takes place Saturday July 12th and Sunday July 13th and will also
feature performances by Flight of the Conchords, Mudhoney, Wolf Parade,
Iron & Wine, The Vaselines, David Cross and a whole lot more.

I just discovered that Ben McMillan passed away earlier this year. For those
of you that don't know, Ben was the lead singer of Gruntruck and Skin Yard.
Skin Yard were one of the original "grunge" bands, and Gruntruck were just an absolutely
amazing and underrated band.
