Blue Moon Love continued...
Dagney

At 11:00 p.m. everyone squeezed into Giles car. Giles was asking Spike to repeat the plan again.
< Does he think I'm a dumb ox>?
" I get there and need to find William and try to find out where Willow is. I need to get the living me out of there and find Red. I need to persuade her to come with me. Lay low until the next full moon."

Giles interrupted, remember if what Angel says is true she may not even trust William at this point. Don't underestimate this Warlock's power over her. Don't underestimate Willow's cunning either. Use the chloroform I've given you to knock her out. Get away someplace safe then try reasoning with her and explain the warlock's influence."

Spike and the watcher disagreed about using the drug on her in her condition. Giles assured him it would not harm her or the babe, and be better to cause the least amount of emotional stress to her.

Spike rubbed his hands over his face and felt thick stubble. The vanity spell had grown out his hair and he had shaved several times, yet his face felt scratchy with new growth. Buffy and Xander were arguing over space in the front.

Angel leaned closer to Spike and whispered, " please be very careful with Willow, Aaron's images and mind manipulation rank up there with the kind of tortuous thing Angelus was capable of. She may be terrified of you, I mean William at this point. Aaron showed me Giles calling her filthy names and rejecting her, images of Buffy and myself mocking her, you degrading her after… you know and the worst Xander violently raping her."

" He what!" Spike yelled reaching forward grabbing Xander in a headlock, about to snap his neck. Giles almost dove off the road.

"No" Angel yelled, grabbing at Spike. " He didn't,… Aaron will just project it into her mind, like he did mine."

Giles was able to keep the car on the road. " Hey " cried Buffy

Xander gasped for air as Spike let go, at Angel's urging. " Man your going to have to control your game face too, you change every time you get upset" Angel chided.

Spike was going to rip the Warlock apart. How dare he hurt his Willow.

Giles had Spike stand in the center of the newly made circle. He asked everyone else to stand back outside the circle. He asked Spike if he was ready. Spike said yes. Spike held the small charm bracelet that belonged to Willow in his hands. He was to repeat the spell word for word after Giles.

"Hey, man.. your going to bring her back right… tell her I.. we love her and need her here K." Xander asked.

" Yes, count on it mate" Spike answered.

Giles recited the spell. William repeated the words. William saw a rush of white light and felt great pain in his head.

He opened his eyes and smelled animal dung. < home smelly home>. He got up and tried to figure out where he was exactly. He walked out of an alleyway. It had been over 100 years since he had been here. Things looked a little familiar He headed in the direction of where he thought Randy's Pub was.

Spike quickly entered the pub. He saw Mary, her back to him. He felt an unaccustomed flush of happiness.

He impulsively rushed up and hugged her. Mary squealed, " "Put me down" she apparently recognized William.

"Why you dirty dog, I expected you to come back here with your tail between your legs, drunk as a skunk." She chided. " What the matter with you, it's not bad enough you hurt your wife, I didn't expect you'd be smiling and happy."

Spike suddenly felt like he been kicked in the head. " What do you mean Mary? He asked innocently.

" You broke that lass's heart in a million pieces.. how could you do.. shag.. some other women in your own bed fer Christ's sake. She berated.

" Where is she?" he asked. " Like I would tell you, you damn dog." " Her friend sent someone by to collect her things this morning." "Your not welcome her any more William." Mary said sadly

Spike left the pub feeling a bit forlorn. <Where would I be? Mary's right getting legless in the most skanky pub looking to get in a brawl. > Spike headed for the waterfront. He went into two other pubs before he had any luck in locating his undead self. He approached William who looked like he was about to fall over. " Hey mate, mine if I have a seat?" The tavern keeper did a double take. Spike commented, " S'my twin brother, can I have an applejack and another for my brother." William lifted his head and squinted hazily at the blurred figure setting next to him. " Thanks mate".

Spike asked, " So why the long face, let me guess women troubles?"

" S'm wife she left me for another man." William said bleary eyed.

"Maybe, your better off without the wench." Spike replied He couldn't help but notice the scratches on Williams's face.

" Shut yer bloody mouth she the most.. wonderful creature.. I never loved anyone like her fore." William answered with tears in his eyes.

" What happened?" Spike asked getting impatient< Tell me I'm not this pathetic when I'm drunk all googley eyed. >

" She cused me of sleeping with some women named Dru. I don't even know anyone by that name. She completed lost it shrieking, tried to scratch my eyes out; crying and pointing like she could see someone in the room. I tried to comfort her…. help her… she vomited all over me and passed out. Tween you and me that Aaron got some sort of hex on her or something. He squired her away. I can't find her." He said sighing and put his head back down upon the bar.

< What a pathetic excuse of a man I used to be. I'd be damned before I let another man walk off with my wife. Well I guess I actually did in a way and I really am damned> Spike shook his head. Don't think about it to hard. Think about where the slime ball is with Willow. Angel had given him an idea of what area of the city to check first. Angel explained as Angelus Aaron had a small house on Liberty Street. Near the wharf. What am I going to do with this sad sack?

Spike approached a man who looks the most reputable mate in the whole establishment. Spike explained that his brother William was a drunk, and that the family wanted him back in London. Spike offered to pay 300 pounds for the man to accompany William back on the train and to keep him away from drinks for two days until he could join them. The man said he do whatever for that kind of money. Spike gave the man 150 pounds up front and arranged to met him in two days. Spike knew that if he hadn't found Red in two days and gotten her away from here it didn't matter much what happened to William.

It was getting close to sunrise, Spike had consumed a large quantity of blood just before the time travel, and if Giles crazy protection spell against sunlight worked he was going to need to recharge now because of the amount of energy it was likely to take to keep from combusting. Spike wanted to find Willow, but also wanted to find a safe place to whole up just in case this spell failed. He wanted to test this spell one body part at a time. He wasn't going to any good to anyone if he was toast.

Spike snacked off six unsavory drunks roaming the wharf. Spike found an abandoned warehouse. His senses were in full adrenaline alert mode. He was still outside and the sun was just starting to peak over the horizon. He stood in the shadow of the warehouse. < Here goes my hand. > He stuck out his hand into the light. He expected to feel flames and smell burnt flesh. He felt this odd tingling. He put out one foot. He moved out his forearm. He felt a slight heat, warmth, kinda like the warmth radiating off a human, but different. He moved completely out into the light. His pupils dilated so small he couldn't see. < I 'M STANDING IN THE SUN! > Spike hadn't felt the warmth of the sun in over 100 years. He felt intoxicated.

Spike moved toward Liberty Street. He saw a home with well-kept grounds. Spike noted that several windows however were boarded up. Angel said that Aaron consorted with vampires. Let see if anybody's home. Spike slipped in a side window downstairs. He at first saw no one. Then he noticed someone sitting in a wing back chair. At first Spike wasn't sure if this was a man or women alive or dead. Spike approached and noted the person was a woman. She was thin, sitting as still as a statue unblinking staring straight ahead. Her breath shallow. Spike moved his hand in front of her eyes. He stared into her eyes and saw nothing. < Major wiggens… I've seen more life in a zombie>

His vampire hearing heard Willow cry out for Aaron.

Aaron hadn't felt this good in over 75 years. < Ah my sweet souled sortilege, just the little bit of you I've tasted has been exquisite. > He laughed and climbed the stairs.

Spike moved with stealth toward the sound of Willow's voice. He stepped back into a doorway as the warlock unlocked the room in which Willow was captive. Spike vamped out, he wanted to tear into the warlock and rip him apart. He let out a small growl. Aaron stopped and cocked his ear. < Remember Giles and Angel warned you don't mess with him unless you have to. Get willow out first. >

Spike bit into his own lower lip to silence his demon.

Willow was crying upon the bed. Aaron moved forward attempting to offer her succor but she pulled back afraid. < Oh yes Aaron almost whimpered aloud at the pleasure her fear evoked in him>

He spoke gently, "Willow did you sleep well dear?"

" Not really, I kept.. kept.. seeing.. she hiccuped and broke down into huge sobs."

< Mmmm so good>

Spike could hear Willow crying, he felt like someone was pulling out his entrails.

" There, there dear, how about I get one of the servants to bring up some food and then a warm bath?" he cooed.

" No. I'm not really hungry," she said softly.

" Now you must keep your strength up. I wouldn't want you to get ill" Aaron answered.

Spike was gripping the doorframe so hard he thought he was going to leave imprints of his fingers.
< I'll eviscerate you and pull your still beating heart out of your body and..>

Aaron left the room and Spike could hear him giving orders to the servant.

Spike moved toward the door. It was still locked. He shoved with his vamp strength, and the lock broke.

Willow was sitting on the bed. A look of fear on her face that Spike had never scene before. Even when he had terrorized this witch, when he had seen Angelus terrorize her. He felt queasy.

Her mouth formed a surprised oh. She took a breath like she was about to scream. He pounced upon her pinning her to the bed and covered her mouth with his hand. She thrashed and tried to bite him. He kept repeating softly" It's OK, Red, It's William I'm not going to hurt you. She was thrashing and groaning. Spike's body responded to her movement. Her eyes looked like they were about to roll back in her head as she felt his erection pressing against her thigh. She was shuddering. Spike knew he should have done what the watcher said in the first place. He pulled out the bottle and dumped some on the linen and brought it against her nose. Spike had to look away from her eyes because he couldn't stand the fear and pain he saw. Willow ceased to struggle. Spike picked her limp form up and headed for the door. Angelus blocked the doorway.

~~~~~~~~~
Spike stared at Angelus vampiric form blocking the doorway.
< What do we has some invisible unbiblical cord that attaches up in every damn time line? >
"Aaron doesn't allow anyone to play with his toys until he through, and I'm first in line for his cast off's."
" Sorry Peaches, this one's mine, Your little leftover fuck toy, Drucilla is cowering under the bed waiting for Aaron to return." Spike taunted.
Angelus growled in fury and charged into the room.
Spike deposited the unconscious Willow into a nearby chair as quickly as possible to face Angelus's wrath.
Spike, reached into his coat pocket, retrieved a vial of holy water. He aimed and threw it at Angelus's head.
Angelus howled in ear splitting rage as the vial broke open across his face.
Spike scooped up Willow, " Well kitten I don't think anybody dead or alive didn't hear Pouffy hair yelling." He dashed out of the room towards the stairs. He saw a zombified servant coming up the stairs with a tray. Spike lashed out with his leg, setting the empty shell tumbling down the stairs.
" Oh Pet, more noise, we must hurry!"
Spike dashed out into the blinding daylight. He mentally thanked the obsessive -compulsive watcher for all his meticulous plans. Spike had met a few slayers in his time but really didn't come to understand how important a watcher is in keeping a slayer alive.
In the past twelve hours, Spike had come to respect Giles. Buffy was lucky to have him on her side, as was Willow for that matter.
Giles had thought about many possible scenarios for this rescue operation and had consequently devised a plan for just about every one. He had recommended the use of chloroform to sedate Willow. He insisted that Spike arm himself with holy water, as weapon. He heard Giles voice: " brute strength is not always the best strategy, distraction, surprise and a speedy retreat can be."
As Spike ran for the wagon stored in the nearby warehouse, he only hoped the watcher was as competent with his magical skills. It was fast approaching midmorning and Spike had to get himself and Willow out of town. Spike was already starting to feel very warm. He also was feeling a bit weak; it was the energy he expended in maintaining the protection spell.
Spike dashed into the warehouse and carefully lay Willow down in the back of the wagon upon some blankets. Spike had already hitched a horse to the wagon. Spike heard soft mewling cries and at first thought Willow was waking up from a nightmare. He then felt sharp nails as a small kitten began to crawl up his leg. Spike pulled off the undernourished black kitten and tossed it upon some nearby by hay.
He continued to double-check his wagon.
As per Giles suggestions blending into the milieu was necessary for a successful escape. Thus a horse and wagon. Spike had packed the remainder of Willow's belongings and his own when Mary asked him to leave the Pub. These things were contained in a trunk, pushed up against the wagon's seat.
A safe haven was also selected after reviewing Willow's journals. Buffy found reference to an entry made by Willow on her honeymoon and read it aloud to the group. One afternoon when she and William were out riding upon the moors it looked like a thunderstorm was approaching. They found shelter in a small abandoned cottage. Willow indicated she and William had spent the afternoon making love. Willow omitted specific details about this particular encounter except to add that she had never really thought about people making love this way, and that it had been most enjoyable.
Giles asked Spike " Can you recall the position... um ..the location" blushing bright red over his slip of the tongue.
Spike did have a memory of that day.
He had an image of he and Red in front of a roaring fire. Both were naked and he was mounting her like a stallion takes a mare. His body responded violently to the memory of that event. He could almost feel Willow's hot bottom as he slammed into her tight velvet channel, her on all fours. He could feel her sweat slicked nipples driping into his hands. He could hear the unique keening sound she made as she cam clenching his cock and emptying his sacs into her. Spike felt his face flush.
" Yes I think so, he stammered." Suddenly everyone looked away from his burning face.
< I'm like the young pup. >
Giles recovered and stated that the location and isolation of the Yorkshire moors could provide an ideal safe haven until the next full moon. He stressed to Spike the importance of remaining out of contact with people as much as possible. He rattled off a list of supplies that should be taken. He listed various foodstuffs that would be important for Willow to eat in the early stages of her pregnancy.
Spike asked, " Where am I supposed to find fresh blood?"
Giles also had a plan for this.
Spike was once again thankful to the watcher, specifically his collection of British monies, which had enabled him to purchase the wagon and supplies. Spike was however, not too pleased about Giles solution to the blood issue. Spike checked the rope that tied a huge oxen and cow to the back of the wagon. In addition he checked to make sure that the various menagerie of animal crates were secured to the wagon. There was a large cage of chickens and two cages of rabbits. Giles said the large oxen should be able to supplement Spike's blood issue in case he had lost his predatory hunting skills to kill wild game. At the time Spike wanted to rip out the watchers throat. < I have never drunk blood from an ox>. Giles noted Spike's angry glare and added quickly that the chicken eggs would provide a necessary source of protein for Willow, the cow milk and that the rabbits would multiply very rapidly to provide a not only a source of meat but blood for Spike as well. The damn cat was snaking and clawing up hi s legs again. He tossed it down again and changed into a dirty pair of worn pants and chambray work shirt, put a large straw hat on his head. The kitten again was mewling and circling his feet.
Spike sighed, " I'm doomed, drinking blood from an ox; I've gone completely soft." As he picked up the kitten, placed it next to Willow's sleeping form and cover them both with a blanket.
~~~~~~~

Willow woke up with a start; she wasn't sure where she was. She looked around an saw a sight that made her broken heart skip a few beats faster. She saw William with his long lean legs stretched out in front of him as he slept in a chair. His neck was bent over to one side, his mouth was slightly open and a small amount of drool collected at the corner. His face was covered by dark stubble, curled up upon between his other cheek and neck was a tiny black kitten. The kitten yawned, its pink tongue protruded from its tiny mouth, and stared back at Willow with emerald eyes.

Willow's eyes narrowed as her heart resumed its normal pattern, as her blood started to burn. She reached over next to the cot she was laying upon and grasped a rusty ale stein. She pitched it towards William's head. He jumped upright, the kitten clawing into his neck and shoulder holding on for dear life.

" What.. What.."

"You stinking, bastard.. " Willow cried, rolling out of bed looking for something else to pitch at him.

" Wake up on the wrong side of the bed Red?" he said smiling devilishly.

Willow picked up her shoes from the floor and flung them towards.

" Red, watch it, your going to hurt Saber"

"You... You... cheater.. you.. louse.. bloody... wanker.." she yelled holding an iron fireplace poker menacingly.

" I'm happy to see you too Kitten" Spike said

" You. ... you. Adulterous... Slimy demon.." she wailed.

" Hey, now your going ta hurt my feelings."

" I should have know you turn out to be a kidnapper... you and that... Spike she spat".

" Who's that luv, yer boyfriend?" he asked waggling his scarred eyebrow.

" I thought you were different but your all the same... all you want is a little... and any port in a storm."
Willow hissed.

Spike moved towards Willow, "Calm down, I need to explain some things to you."

" Stay back " she waved the poker.

She bolted for the door, opened it up and ran outside. Spike followed behind her on her heels.

Willow recognized the abandoned cottage, the isolated moors, and saw a menagerie of animal.

" Take me back" she demanded. " I'll not stay here and play Green Acres with you Mister."

She lunged towards him and made a threatening gesture with the poker.

The kitten Saber hissed protectively as Willow came close to Spike's midsection.

" Easy Saber, let's go in and get you some milk and let this wild cat cool down a bit." He said removing the kitten from his shoulders, taking it into his arms gently, turned his back on Willow and entered the cottage.

" How dare you walk away from me when we're fighting you... you... dumb ox." She said following him back into the cottage.

" Ouch, that hit a little closer to home than you know, Red."

" What kind of stupid name is Saber for a cat anyway?" Willow bitched running out of steam, since William appeared to ignore her tirade.

" Well, she is black as night, follows me like a shadow and has this white marking running down her back that looks like a saber." "She reminds me a bit of you, she's tiny, fierce, and has your color eyes.

" Come, I'll fix you something to eat and we'll talk." Spike offered

" I don't want anything from you, I'm going back to Leeds" Willow said stamping her foot.

" Yea must have something to eat."

" I'll not eat a think until you take me back, and you can't make me." She challenged.

" Come now, Will don't do this to spite me, you've got to think about the baby now." He said gently.

" Baby, what baby?" she asked.

Suddenly it hit her like a ton of bricks. < Nauseous, the stress, I haven't kept track of my period, I'm so mixed up, several months here, back a few minutes later.. We've been MATING LIKE ANIMALS... I didn't even think.>
Willow saw stars and fainted dead away.

Spike managed to catch her before she hit the floor. He carried her over to the bed, lay her down and brushed the red hair off her cheek softly. < I take this, as you're not happy about the babe. > He kissed her cheek softly and lay his hand upon her pelvis, a red tear leaked from his eye.

~~~~~~~
Spike left the cottage,he needed to feed. He felt exhausted physically and emotionally. The past few days had been filled with one unexpected event after another. He had begun at last to understand a bit about what was going on. However, he for the undead life of himself, had no idea what he may have done in a previous existence, to be experiencing the kind of karma he was dealt. His long-suffering obsession with Dru appears to have been replaced by a new heartache. He had recently become obsessed with the little redheaded witch. She teased and taunted his body and lost soul in his dreams. He came back to Sunnydale only to be vexed and sexed by this siren. He was threatened and terrorized by Peaches, the slayer's Scooby gang and came very close to killing the pup Scrappy Do.
He recalled long lost memories of a very short, but blissful life with this flame haired temptress. He relived his own death and wished himself dead again; after fearing he had lost her yet again. He traveled back in time to find her. He was masquerading around as her long dead husband. He had rescued her from an evil warlock. He was enraptured to know she carried a part of him within her. He was devastated to think she loathed him and the child she carried.
Spike did something he hadn't done in over 100 years. He prayed for divine intervention and guidance. "God or Goddess, I ask only that you help me get Willow back to her time and watch over her and the babe she carries." Spike absently petted Saber as she purred and kneaded against his thigh. He wept.
Willow awoke yet again not quite sure where she was. Her mind reeled as she recalled her last conscious thought. < I GOING TO HAVE A BABY!>
<I'M GOING TO HAVE WILLIAM'S BABY> she smiled. Her joyous wave crashed back down onto rocky reality. < My husband doesn't really love me. He is obsessed with the loony Vampire Dru. She or Angelus very likely will turn him. I am powerless to stop it. I can't go home because everyone loathes me. Tears ran down Willow's cheek as her mind flashed back to the previous days. She witnessed her husband killed before her eyes. Lied repeatedly to her friends acted no better than a slut with the demon her husband became. Her mentor rejected her and made her an outcast. Buffy and Angel mocked her. Xander.. Oh Xander was so filled with hate and disgust... even Spike scorned her...>
<Oh Goddess, what if Dru wants her baby. Spike will do anything to please her. NO NO I won't let them have my baby. I have to get out of here. Steal the horse and get back to Leeds and to Aaron. He was her friend he would help her. >
Willow wiped her tear stained face and put her resolve face in place. I have to bide my time. Let William think... things are OK until I can escape.
Willow was eating when Spike reentered the cottage. The sun had set and nightfall was rapidly gaining her dominance.
Willow smiled bravely at William as he entered.
" Red, I'm glad your eating" can I get you some fresh water or how about some cheese.. fruit.." he rattled on.
" No, I'm fine thank you."
" I'm sorry I was so angry before.. I feel so stupid.. I didn't realize I was.. pregnant..., guess the hormones are giving me the wacky." She smiled uncertainly.
" Are you feeling alright?" Spike asked with concern sitting down next to her at the small table.
His knee grazed her's under the table, and Willow pulled her leg back like he had stuck her.
The kitten Saber prowling about her master's feet, swiped at Willow's retreating leg.
" Owe, that damn cat scratched me" Willow hissed.
Saber climbed up onto Spike's and began to purr with contentment.
" Willow, I need to explain some things to you, " Spike began.
Willow couldn't look into her husband's blue eyes. She also found it difficult to be so close in proximity to him. She wanted to throw herself into his arms make him want her.. love her.. but she was too afraid. Willow felt extremely vulnerable, broken and rejected. She didn't think she could endure any more rejection. As it was she still had these fleeting impulses to run and throw herself off one of the rocky cliffs that adorned the moor. < No.. I have the baby to think about.>
Spike reached out to take Willow's hand. As his hand brushed her's she pulled back out of his grasp and arose, moving closer to the fireplace.
< She hates me, DAMN DAMN THAT WARLOCK>
" Yes" she said her back to him.
" Red, it about the past couple of days.. things aren't what they appeared to be... you see Aaron.. the warlock has put you under some type of magic spell... He is causing you emotional pain and anguish so that he..."
" How dare you," she interrupted turning to face him.
Once again Willow felt the protective bonds of anger. Aaron has been a good friend... he came and got me from SunnyHell.. and brought me back to you... How was he to know that you took a lover in my absence!" she seethed.
" No, it was just illusion he filled your head with illusion to cause you pain.." "He has filled your head with the illusion that I was making love to Dru" Spike said.
" I see, you have given this non-existent women .. you didn't make love to a name!" She shrieked.
Spike smacked himself in the forehead, " No.. No..I.. can explain.. you see.." Spike could mentally hear both Xanders and the watchers words about Willow haunt him; ' she's too smart you'll never fool her', ' don't underestimate her cunning'. He had been about to explain that he knew all this because he was there in Sunnydale he was really Spike. Yeah that will win her over admit the complicated deception you and her friends are trying to make her believe, in order to get her to see the truth about the warlock. His head felt like it was going to explode.
" Well, your, not the only one who took a lover" Willow lashed out verbally.
Spike's eyes narrowed, < Please please don't tell me that Warlock or Angelus have...> he shut his eyes for the verbal blow.
" Unlike you.. your quick slam bamn; He knew exactly how to please me, he made me writhe beneath him in estacy"
Spike felt close to vamping out, he felt sick as he visualized..
" Spike was the best lover I ever had" she spat at him.
Spike eyes flew open, he looked into her green orbs, felt a wellspring of mirth bubble up, he began to laugh.
The look in Willow's eyes made him wish he could rip out his own throat. He realized she had thrown out the remark to hurt him and here I laughed in her face like I didn't give a damn.
She whirled and moved for the door. He had a sudden vision of her running in panic and falling off a rock face. He reached out and grabbed her arm. She screamed and pulled away in frenzy. She lashed out at him with her fists and nails. He pulled her closer to his body to try and capture keep her from inflicting any harm upon herself. Her recent words, proximity, and continued struggle sent his body into a wave of desire. Some part of her histrionic mind felt him and she pleaded, "no... oh no... Xander please... no... don't hurt me" she begged.
Spike realized that she was having some sort of flashback, and released her. She clappsed in a heap, crawling away to cower in a corner her eye's wide with fear.
Spike was afraid she had snapped like Dru. < I always manage to ruin everything, How can I help her? She doesn't trust anyone least of all me. >
