
Hi, I'm Floyd,
the flamingo who lives at the Great
Salt Lake. I'm here to tell you all the cool stuff about the lake.

Of course, you know that it is salty, but did you know that you can
float very easily on it? It is bigger than the
state of Rhode Island, but does not have one fish in it. Instead, you
can find things like brine shrimp and brine flies--mmmmmmmmmm! The
Great Salt Lake is famous for its sunsets,
There are tons of places to go here. You can even
learn about me, but I'm not the most important thing at the Great Salt
Lake (just the most important bird).
--especially if you
are in an inner tube. Anyway, the Great Salt Lake is located in the
state of Utah. 
but is known for its snowstorms and winds too. People use it and
the areas around it to have fun,
but
also use its salt in many ways, harvest the brine shrimp (actually
steal my food, and make things like fertilizer using minerals from the
lake. The Great Salt Lake has a lot of history
