Desperate Measures

The whole plot seems hashed out from a bad made-for-tv movie. This kid needs bone marrow and the only one on the whole planet that has the right match is a sociopath. Well, what a coincidence. So when they take the sociopath out of prison to do the transplant, surprise, he escapes. You can't kill him, a nine year old boy needs that bone marrow and it goes bad immediately on death.

Michael Keaton is just a prick as the villain and Andy Garcia just needs a kick in the balls. There wasn't really anything I like about their performances. The whole premise just pisses me off.

This is one film that doesn't even have good special effects to rely on. I give Desperate Measures a D-.
