NOTE: Apparently a commercial clone of the Dylantree edition. The packaging ironically repeats the original issuer's promotional claims to have accessed previously uncirculating source recordings, even though the set has been reliably identified as a commercial clone of a fan project in very limited circulation. Minor variations exist across the variant versions of this set; by its cover slips, this version omits two circulating tracks, a short fragment of "Belchezaar," and a long-circulating take of "Crash On The Levee." Despite what you may read elsewhere, this set was issued on CDR, not glass-mastered CD.

BIAB: My opinion is that it represents a vast improvement over the sound of the 5-CD Genuine Basement Tapes set. Fewer dropouts, and considerably less distortion and much clearer sound on many of the key songs.
