THE BEATLES PLAY (WITH) DYLAN

Columbus 1D

This Beatles-centered compilation includes 5 Dylan tracks -- I Wanna Be Your Lover (studio, 1965); Fourth Time Around (live, 1966); I Forgot To Remember To Forget (Basement Tapes, 1967); She Belongs To Me, I Thew It All Away (Isle of Wight, 8/31/69) -- 2 tracks featuring Dylan and George Harrison, most likely recorded during Harrison's visit to Dylan's Woodstock home in November 1968 -- Everytime Somebody Comes To Town [aka Nowhere To Go]; I'd Have You Anytime -- as well as audio from the Dylan/Lennon taxi ride outtake from Eat The Document. It also includes an informal Beatles rendition of "Blowin' In The Wind," as well as Beatles studio recordings of several Dylan songs, mostly from the January 1969 Get Back sessions, and excerpts from several Beatles interviews. However, the studio recording of "Cold Turkey" does not, as the compiler would have it, feature Dylan on piano, nor is "Ramblin' Woman," recorded during the Get Back sessions, a Dylan composition. Sometimes listed as "First Long And Winding Ride On Highway 61."
