rmd: This is supposed to be one of the very best shows of
1991. With seven songs missing, it's hard to tell. Seek the tape,
or any other more complete account, instead.
rmd: Nice show, and good clear sound. Clear enunciation was
not a major priority this night. But that doesn't hinder the better
performances from grabbing your attention.
NOTE: The first 8 tracks on the disc were reportedly
mastered at the wrong speed, and these tracks are slightly fast.
A speed-corrected CDR version circulates as a fan project, under
the same title. The original disc reportly circulates in three
slightly variant forms of packaging; the other two have been reported to carry the titles
Illinois '91 and Live In Evanston '91.
A complete recording of this concert circulates as Evanston
1991.
