It was movie night, and, as usual, the pod squad couldn't agree on a movie.

"Runnaway Bride!" Maria shouted.

"I'm not watching some girly movie!" Michael retorted.

"Oh, and what movie do*you* want to see? How many gallons of blood did they use in it?" Michael and Maria's fighting had gotten worse ever since they had broken up.

"Fight Club!"

All the girls in the room groaned.

"Sounds good to me," Kyle said. Neither Kyle or Tess were a normal part of movie night, but both had been invited. Everyone was attempting to turn the eight of them into one, seemless, whole.

"I brought Notting Hill," Isabel said, glancing shyly at Alex. Alex and Isabel were the only couple that were still together... sort of.

Max sighed. "Okay, did anyone pring something that wasn't a chick flick or a... a guy flick?"

Kyle, Tess, and Alex looked away.

"I brought a documentry on the mole," Liz offered tentativly.

"Okay, somebody slap her," Maria said.

"What did you bring, Max?" Tess asked.

"Um... I kind of fogot."

"So what are we going to do?" Michael asked. "Since *somebody* doesn't want to watch my movie."

"Hey!" Maria shouted. "Just because I don't want to sit through two hours of blood and gore--"

"Maria, Michael, please!" Isabel said.

"Okay, then," Maria agreed. "But I have an idea."

"Oh, great," Michael muttered under his breath.

She shot him a murderous glance, but continued. "Spin the bottle."

"Spin the bottle?" Kyle said in an incredulous voice. "Isn't that kind of juvinile?"

"Not my version," Maria answered smugly. "It's a combination of it and Truth or Dare. We go around the room, and everyone has the chance to ask someone else a question. If they don't want to answer it, they spin the bottle, and kiss whoever it lands on."

"I don't think so," Michael retorted.

Max shot him a warning gaze. "Why not? We don't have anything better to do."

"Who goes first?" Liz asked.

Maria shrugged. "Doesn't matter."

"I'll go," Kyle offered. His gaze swept across the room, landing on Tess. "Tess, would you ever go out with me?"

Tess flushed. "I'll spin." She gave the bottle a hard spin. When it stopped, it was pointing to Kyle. Everyone laughed.

"I guess you can't escape him," Isabel said.

Tess got up, and walked across the room, leaned over, and kissed Kyle softly on the lips. Kyle smiled. Tess blushed again, but instead of walking back to her old seat, she sat down next to Kyle.

"You get to ask a question now," Maria told her.

Tess look turned mischeivous. "Isabel... if you could be stranded on a desert island with anyone in the world, who would it be?"

Isabel looked at Alex, but chose to spin. It landed on Max. "I don't think so!." She laughed. She spun the bottle again, and it landed on Kyle.

"See told you all the chicks loved me!" he said.

Isabel gave him a quick peck on the cheek, and then looked around the room. "Let's have a typical Truth or Dare question... Michael, how many girls have you kissed? *Really* kissed."

Maria watched Michael closely. She knew the answer, but she doubted that he would admit it in front of everyone. He would probably make up some ridiculous number.

Michael looked thoughtful. "Just one. Liz," he quickly said, wanting to get the attention off himself. "If you were a flower, what kind of flower would you be?" he said the first thing that popped into his head.

Liz shot him a weird glance. "Since I have no idea how to answer that, I'll spin." The bottle landed on Michael. Maria leaned over and whispered something into Liz's ear. Liz grinned, and leaped up from her seat into Michael's lap. She pulled his head down to hers, and gave him a long, passionate kiss. "There!" she said. "Now you can say you've been kissed by two girls!"

Michael looked embarrased. "Um... yeah... whatever."

It was Liz's turn to ask a question. She turned to Maria. "Have you ever been in love?"

Maria hesitated. She was tempted to just spin the bottle, but Michael had told the truth, and maybe she owed it to him to give a straight answer. "Just once," she responded quietly. She turned to Alex. "Alex, this is something that has been bugging me for a while: Explain the Notting Hill thing!"

Alex reached for the bottle. "Sorry, Maria, but you're just going to have to keep on wondering." He gave the bottle a spin, and, when it stopped, it was pointed at Isabel. Alex leaned over, and gave her a soft, tender, kiss. "Wait a minute! Everyone's already gone."

"You get to ask Kyle," Maria informed him.

"Okay... hm... what do I want to know?" Alex looked at Kyle, then at Tess. "If you could have a date with anyone in the world, who would it be with?"

Kyle took a deep breath. "Tess." He stood up. "Well, this has been a great bonding experiance and all, but I've gotta go. Coming, Tess?" The two left together.

"We need to leave, too," Max said. He looked at Liz. "It's been fun."

Isabel looked over at Alex. "Coming?"

He grinned, "What would I do without my loyal chauffer?"

Liz, too, soon left, and Michael and Maria were left staring at each other in the middle of Michael's apartment.

"Well," Maria finally said. "I better go, too."

"Wait. Did you mean what you said? I mean, about--"

"Only being in love with one guy?" He nodded. "Yes, it's the truth. I love you, Michael. I still love you. I tried to stop myself from it, but I can't."

Michael pulled her close. "Let's try it again. I'm still afraid I'll hurt you, but maybe if we take it slow..."

Maria smiled. "That's all I ask for."
