"Michael! Hurry up with those burgers!" Maria yelled.
"If you wnat them so much, come back here, and make them yourself!" Michael shouted back.
"Michael, it's your job! You need to start working faster!"
"I don't need your comments! I don't understand why you hang around with me, anyways, if I disappoint you."
Maria narrowed her eyes at him, and shook her head. "You don't get it, do you?"

"What?" Michael yelled after Maria, as she turned and left.
Liz walked up to the counter.
"What did you say to her?"
"Nothing! I just aske her what she was doing with me if I was such a disappoinment."
Liz sighed. "Oh, Michael. Where did you get the idea that Maria's so much more expeirenced at this than you are?"
"What?" Michael asked, returning to flipping burgers.
"You're the first boyfriend she's ever had. She's only kissed one guy before. Maria's learning, too."
Michael didn't say anything, but his eyes were thoughtful.
"I do know this, Michael-- she'd do anything for you."

"Maria."
Maria jumped up. "Oh, Michael! I was just leaving!"
"No, stay!" He grabbed her arm. Maria sighed and sat back down. "I'm sorry, Michael. I don't mean to push you."
"I need it sometimes."
"If it's too much, just tell me." Maria sighed, as she pushed her headband further up on her head. "Do you Alex is the only guy I've ever been close to? But you-- I'm close to you in a way I never imagined. I never thought it was like this, so wonderful, and so hard."
