Introduction to Magnetic Excitations One of my ongoing projects is to create an interactive, Java-powered introduction to the physics of high frequency magnetic excitations. This is providing me with a great opportunity to get up to speed with Java, and maybe even help others learn something in the process. Also, I've written a Buffon's Needle Java applet, which simulates the famous Monte Carlo calculation of pi.
