The Budyonny Horse
Usualy miss spelled and mispronounced as the 'Budonny.' The 'Budyonny' is an athletic breed that comes from the southern part of the former USSR. It is usually chestnut and stands around 16 hands. The Budyonny seems to excell at endurance, including racing and steeplechasing. It has also done well in the dressage ring.
