Oregon Coast, Vacation 2000 Photos

This was taken on Cannon Beach. I had taken Duke for a walk. It is so nice just to be able to do this. We're not just going to Ashland, we are enjoying the beach and the scenery along the way.

Lighthouses

This is the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse and the Umpqua River Lighthouse. It was fun stopping off to see the different lighthouses. We must make it a point of doing this trip again.

Coast Pictures

Even with the fog we manages to get some good pictures. When we started out, we didn't know what to expect from the digital. What you see is what you get. No ZOOM! The picture on the right is a group of rocks in a scenic bay where hundreds of sea lions were barking in the breeze. Even though we were quite a distance away we could hear them. We were able to view them through the zoom lens of the video camera.

Coast Pictures

These were taken at the Oregon Vortex. The plank we stood on was checked with a level, so it must have been. We had a picture taken with the 5 of us standing on the plank. Then we reversed positions and took another picture. Does it look like some of us have grown or shrunk a little?

The picture on the right was taken while trying costumes in Ashland. We did have a lot of fun.
