Kidnapped!

Host: Dave Holmes
Co-Host/Assistant: KD Aubert

PREMISE: Three friends try to score points in order to buy keys so as to free their fourth friend, and win a trip.

PLAY: The game is played over a series of three trials.

Trial One: "The Interrogation"
The "hostage" is asked a series of five questions about the group. It is up to the group to guess what answers the hostage gave. Each right answer wins two points, each wrong answer deducts a point. If the team has five points after five questions, the team wins a key card from a group of four.

If a team cannot successfully complete a trial, the "hostage" must undergo a "torture" session, based on either a fear that person has, or simply dumping stuff on them.

Trial Two: Solitary Acts

Five taped acts are shown from when the hostage was kept overnight in the cell. The teammates have to predict the outcome of the taped segments. "We asked John to write a poem. Which of you three did he write it about?" A right answer wins two points again, a wrong answer deducts one. The fifth taped bit is called "Screw Your Friends". The hostage is offered a prize (guitar, snowboard), at a cost of two points in the trial. The team guesses the outcome as normal.

Trial Three: "Tell Me What You Know"

The hostage is given a category, and must predict which of the friends knows the most about it. That friend is asked a question. A right answer wins two points, a wrong answer loses a point, and subjects the hostage to a mini-torture (pie in the face, drink a shot of hot sauce, etc). Getting ten points within two minutes wins the key.

After the third trial, the hostage is strapped to a wheel for the "Desperate Act". The person whose head the hostage points to is given the chance to win one last key by participating in a torture event (eating a whole onion, having a lizard crawl on them, or having a young man wax his leg).

After the Desperate Act, the co-hostess takes the keys won and runs them through a machine similar to those seen at grocery stores for debit cards. If any of the keys won opens the gate, the team wins a vacation getaway. If none of them are the magic key, the team is subjected to a final humiliation (having to dance on the street for quarters, clean out the show's van, etc.)
