Darrel's Homepage
My name is Darrel. I have two sons, David and Matt. I have two daughters,
Becky and Laura. David lives in Grandview. Matt lives in
Chehalis, Washington, along with my first grandaughter, Ashlee. Beccy and Hector
live in Grandview and Laura and Gordy live in Grandview.
This is basically a genealogy page. I've done research on the following
family names:
Fortune, Bigelow, Willis, Gullion, Patty, McGrew, Pixler.
I know that the Pattys came here from Ireland. And I'm pretty sure that the
Gullions did too. But I've also heard that they originated in Scotland.
I also know that their name at that time was "O'Gullion". The Bigelows came
from England. I have heard that the Willises came from Wales. There's some
controversy over where the Fortunes came from. Some say England, Scotland,
Ireland, Spain, Italy, . . . If anyone knows any family origins, or suspects
any origins, please e-mail me. We've also hit some major rock walls.
I'd like to just mention a couple of good friends who also happen to be cousins.
Eileen is my second cousin and lives in Bozeman, Montana. TL is my sixth
cousin and lives in Indiana. She's a little shy, so I won't give her real name.
Ain't genealogy great? TL and I met through our mutual search for our "roots".
My late wife's family names are: Lawson, Ford, Townzen, Clardy, Dollar. Some of
these people also came to this country from Ireland and Scotland.
