Unit membership varies roughly between 10 to 20 men, but due to "real life" commitments turn out can vary greatly at each battle. Everyone is very friendly, and is always willing to help a new member. We have enough loaner equipment to outfit several people so one can get a first taste of the hobby at minimal cost.

Our Fallschirmjaeger reenactors must accept and abide by the NWHA RULES OF CONDUCT for members portraying German soldiers.

All members of the unit must have period appropriate haircuts and sideburns for battle reenactments, no facial hair is allowed. Eyeglasses, if needed, must also be similar to those used by the Germans in WWII.

New members must meet and be accepted by the unit as a whole and be approved by the unit commander for membership in the NWHA. A very liberal probationary period of one year is then allowed for new members to obtain their required kit.

The majority of the unit resides in Washington State, although we also have members from Oregon and Idaho. Our non-event unit meetings usually take place in Olympia.
