On April 11, 1995, the government took away the last good place to look at their "non-existant" base. The land withdrawl added 3,972 acres the 3.5 million acres of the Nellis Air Force range. The government apparently had no reason for taking away the land and they needed it "for the safe and secure operation of the Nellis Range." The only place left to view the base is from Tikaboo Peak, 26 miles away. |
