We want to thank all the people that have shown interest in Magic over the years, and who have chosen to breed to him. We received our results from the cataract DNA test, and Magic carries one copy of the cataract mutation. According to the information I have, dogs that carry even one copy of the cataract mutation are at high risk for developing cataracts - and will pass on that risk to about 1/2 of their offspring. So, at this time, Magic is no longer offered for breeding. |

We wish them all the best with their new pups! Congrats to Barb Hager and Zipper on finishing his ASCA Championship at 6 1/2 months old, and his AKC CH in Aug. 2007!! We also send congratulations to Kenji and owner Sharon Willis on his ASCA and AKC Championships in spring and summer 2007!! I'm a VERY proud grandma!! Congratulations are also in order for Chipper and his owner Erin Mofford in Canada for completing Chipper's CKC Championship!
