This is who I am and you will accept me as I m or you won't talk to me anymore.
I am blind, and I am not stupid and retarded like most blind people. Unlike them I have a life beyond my imagination.
My computer talks to me with a speech program called Jaws For Windows. It reads the screen to me and I still have to type.
I started losing my vision when I was born, but the doctors didn' diagnose it until I was four. It's been gradual and the last time I was able to read a regular book was in 1995.
I still see light and dark and some shadows, but that's about it.
So, if you can't accept all this, go to hell!
