Favorite Pastimes

These are a few things that actually hold my interest!
I do have a favorite television soap show. I watch "Guiding Light" every chance I get. It never wins at the Soap Awards but it keeps my interest. I don't care what anyone says, it is better than "General Hospital". My favorite characters are the handsome Prince, Richard, his soon to be Princess Cassy, and the evil Prince Edmond. As of right now they hold the best story line on the show!

I do have other talents besides being able to watch t.v. without blinking. I play the clarinet an the piano. I enjoy both equally. I don't enjoy playing for people, though. I play for myself alone. I quess I was kind of a band nerd, but my mother threw me into it. I really didn't like it at all. I missed out on being a fake blonde, over-excited cheerleading superstar, like okay? There's a lot of practicing involved with playing an instrument. It just brings tears to my eyes when I think of all the Oprahs' I missed.
Another interest of mine is art work. I love abstracts simply because everyone sees something different. My favorite painting is called The Kiss by Gustav Klimpt. It's a painting that seems to overflow with love. I also enjoy Monet's fancy flower gardens-the colors are extremely warm and friendly. I've been to New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art and thoroughly enjoyed myself.
I am a quote fanatic! I can't seem to resist writing down a good quote I hear in passing. My quotes always relate to life in some way. I was given a book of quotes when I was younger and have been adding to it ever since. Here are a few of my favorites: "You shall above all things be glad and young for if you're young, whatever life you wear it will become you; and if you are glad whatevers living will yourself become" e.e cummings "If at first you don't succeed, try again, then quit. No use being a damn fool about it" W.C. Fields
