MICHELLE BINT SAHARA
Michelle Bint Sahara is a second generation bellydancer already recognized in her hometown of Bend, OR as an up and coming young dancer and choreographer. When not dancing, she enjoys playing the violin and art.
A.G.E. OF CREATION
Members include
Nona McFarland, Shelley Davis, Elissa Wieneke, Lauren Steen, Egle Rucci and Xian. A.G.E. (Alternative Gothic Experimental) of Creation: A dash of fusion, a pinch of tribal, a whole lot of attitude and BAM! A culinary delight to entice the senses. AGE of Creation is excited to share its debut tonight with some of the finest in belly dance with our version of "Tainted Disaster".
MELODY
is the owner of Emerald Rain Bellydance Co. She is the troupe director for both Yakootah Mattara and Emerald Raindrops as well as the producer of Emerald Rain Bellydance Competition & Fete (held the first full weekend of March in Arlington WA.). She has been called one of the best sword dancers on the west coast by her peers... her balance, grace and energetic foot work while flipping her skirts or
fans has delighted audiences around the Puget Sound for several years.
SAHARA’S DREAMS
Sahara's Dream is an award winning troupe from Bend, OR known for their innovative choreographies and crisp execution.
KATY
has been dancing tribal fusion for 5 years. Starting in Montana, she has made her way to Bellingham, WA where she performs and sponsors events as often as she can!
TRIBELLA
TriBellas is a Tribal Fusion Belly Dance trio taking the Seattle/South Puget Sound region by storm. Members - Christina, Janice and Juwana create unique and dynamic choreography from their extensive dance training. We like to explore and discover new ways to infuse ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tango, salsa, lyrical and other dance styles with belly dance to showcase tribal fusion and capitivate audiences with an explosion of entertainment!
MEZDULENE
Mezdulene is passionate about Middle Easten Dance and has been performing and teaching for over 25 years. Her performance hihglight was a dance tour through Egupt where she danced in several nightclubs in Cairo and Luxor. She has won or placed in many competitions. She is the sponsor of Belly Dancer USA and owns Jareed Magazine and the Mystical Oasis Dance Studio in Sutherlin, OR and is the director of Mystical Oasis Dance Co.
UNMATA
Amy Sigilis the director/choreographer of Unmata and owner of Hot Pot Sutdio in Sacramento, CA. She has been spreading her high octane performances and workshops around the globe for the last 7 years and has been dancing for 13. She is joined by Unmata member Sarah Stinson
who has been bellydancing for about 8 years. She started out in high school taking a cabaret/gypsy class. Soon afterwards she saw Aywah! Dance company perform folkloric style bellydance and was inspired to take classes through Katarina Burda. Sarah joined Hot Pot Studio in 2005 and UNMATA in 2008.

SKIN DEEP
Skin Deep is an American Tribal Style Belly Dance Company based out of Seattle. Classes are available at http://SkinDeepDance.com , their main studio in Seattle or in Issaquah. COLETTE
Colette has been belly dancing since 1997 when she first attended classes with Carolina Nericcio of FCBD. She was immediately intrigued by the groups improvisational aspect of the dance and the attention to body mechanics and moving in a healthy way. Over the years Colette become more involved with FCBD studio and was invited to join the professional troupe in 2001. She has relocated to the Columbia River Gorge and continues to teach and dance. Her goal is to continue as a dancer and to inspire others to discover how dance and creativity can drastically improve your life.
DEVIANT DANCE BELLY FUSION
Is devoted to new ideas deviating from the norm to forge a new path into a strange and mythical realm; telling the story within the dance. Grace is the founder/director of Deviant Dance as well as founding member of Tatseena's Dreams of Cleopatra based in the SF Bay Area. She teaches weekly classes in Portland and workshops and events through out the West. She is Zaghareet Magazine's Golden Belly award for Best Kept Secret in 2008.
Member Sheila learned to roll her belly when she was 5 years old and has loved belly dance ever since. She started performing at 12 years of age and has been a member of Tatseena's Good Vibrations and Dreams of Cleopatra.
Member Kim Sakara is an award winning clothing designer best known for her belly dance activewear collection. While on hiatus from costuming she is a full time student and part time performer of both Cabaret and Fusion styles. This is her first performance with Deviant Dance.
JEWELS
is an active member in the Portland belly dance community and enjoys performing with local musicians and supporting her fellow dancers. She also enjoys traveling to other cities and states and meeting dancers from other communities who all share a common passion for this beautiful art form.
MEDEA
has been dancing off and on at SCA events and Ren faires for over 6 years. She formed a troupe in 04 and then became a solo dancer in 07. 2008 was her first full year as a solo performer dancing fairly regularly. She has been blessed to be able to study with many amazing dancers like Suhaila Salimpour, Kami Liddle, Rachel Brice, Ariellah, Jill Parker and among others... RAQ STEADY EDDIE
Eddie has been dancing and practicing martial arts for most of his life. It was when he was introduced to the world of belly dance in 1998 that he fused his two favorite arts into one form of movement that he practices and evolves today. He enjoys entertaining audiences with his light hearted, but technically dedicated approach to his own unique version of tribal fushion belly dance. UNMATA
Amy likes her dance "fast" and her music "loud"! She is an athlete; a full force tough love dancer with 110% for the game. Her workshops will make you sweat till you bleed and Unmata will make you smile til you scream. Influenced by her studies in Bellydance, American Tribal Style, Hula and Hip Hop, Amy brings you Sigil style; not just a dance style but a life style.
