Shawn Wayans was born on January 19, 1971, the second youngest to Howell and Elvira Wayans in lower Manhatten New York.A family of 10 kids.Sisters Kim, Evonnie, Deirdra,Nadia, and Elvira. Brothers Dwayne, Keenan, Damon, and Marlon.In his teens Shawn went to California with Keenan, Damon, and Kim where he appeared with them in Robert Townsend's Partners in crime (See in credits) he also did comedy clubs before being on in Living Color. It was there where he was discovered by alot of female viewers, and he received lots of fan mail.He was DJ Sw1 who spined the records and made his brother Keenan dancers The Fly Girls grooved and moved. But Shawn strived to be a comed ian so he latter bcame a regular on the show.When In Living Color ended he later made the movie with younger Marlon Don't be a Meance to South Central While Drinking your juice in the hood.Then came a sitcom for both of them The Wayans Brothers about them living in an apartment together and geeting into all sorts of trouble. Since the show ended, Shawn has stared in the drama New Blood, and has co-wrote and stared with Marlon: Scary Movie 1&2, and the recent movie White Chicks. Shawn has a girlfriend, and two kids, maybe a third.
