AmCh Waterfield's Mad About You

Caper has the ultimate attitude about life: Everyone loves her, and she's ALWAYS right! She's a sweet, loving companion, an excellent mom, and life around here would be quite different without her Pollyanna outlook-and she makes a great cheerleader too!

Caper won Best Opposite Sex at the 2000 national specialty. Her kids Baxter, Moxie and Chip also did her proud by winning there too(see 'Caper's Kids'). Caper repeated her Best Opposite win in 2001 to retire the Wicksford Challenge Trophy (Baylee won it for Arborfield in 1997-one owner must win the trophy three years), and her kids Casey and Geoffrey brought home the trophies too. Caper hit the show scene in the late fall 2001 with professional handler Ellen Cottingham. Caper ended up #7 Field spaniel for the year! In 2002, she earned two points toward her canadian CH by winning a group four her first weekend out, and while on 'spring break' here at home with me, we earned another group four, and while in whelp to Brady in late August, we picked up a group three! She was designated number one Field in Canada for 2002. On October 16th, Caper gave me three beautiful puppies: The two livers Morgan (exported to Finland to live with Pippi's brother)and Fan (went to live in San Francisco with the Moses-Kimaya family) and the cute little black pup Token demanded that she stay here. All three puppies will be shown, and I expect great things from all three of them!

Here is Caper with brother Truman shortly after arriving in Seattle. Caper is the BIGGER of the two (on the left)

Caper finished in the US by winning Winners all but once, and Best Of Winners (BOW) all but once. Both of her majors were won by going BOW over the boys! Caper is a very substantial girl with tons of substance and personality to match!

Caper: Voted Mom Of The Year!
