allow 8 players to play over Kali, IPX Network, 4 can play over direct
connect, and 2 can play over Modem Connection. After the release of
Warcraft 3: Lord of the Clans Blizzard announced Warcraft Platnium
sort of like Warcraft 4, it will have no new units, buildings, or heroes
but 2 new veteran campaigns that will truly test your gaming skills
and strategys. A new feature is Battle.Net for Warcraft Platnium
when you buy Warcraft Platnium you get Battle.Net for free. Which lets
you compete your Warcraft skills with players all over the world. Up
to 8 players can play on Battle.Net in one game. You get personal
ID Names and an account there is also a Ladder system which is a
world ranking system to see who is the best. Warcraft Platnium
is scheduled to be released for the holiday season.

Warcraft III announced! Aren't we all so glad?! Lol, ^_~ here below is a press release by Blizzard...
"With the release of StarCraft, we felt that we reached the pinnacle of what could be accomplished in the current generation of strategy titles. Our goal with Warcraft III is to carve out a new direction for strategy games by incorporating the interactive dynamics present in role-playing games and applying them in a competitive strategic combat environment." Also as you would've noticed this page as sort of gone through a layout change, more updates soon so check back often.
