The Great Northwest of Washington State contains many natural wonders and resources. Our unusual climate and location between two mountain ranges - the Olympic Mountains to the west and the Cascade Mountain Range to the east - creates a haven of wonderful nectar sources for our bees, unique to this area. Our sumptuously delicious honey includes the early spring blooming Big Leaf Maple, followed by the Evergreen Blackberry which kicks off the middle of summer, and last but not least, toward the end of this very busy honey flow is the Purple Fire Weed of the mountains. The late Summer honey flow is from the Japanese Knotweed, which is a dark honey.
Our honey is not only valued for its unique flavor. This prized honey is light of color and has a thick, sweet texture. Our bottling process has been developed to be as natural as possible, to bring you the pure, clean honey our bees work so hard producing.
We bottle directly from the capped honey comb - with no chemicals to worry about - there is no heating or heavy filtering done - eliminating the tampering of this already pure food. This results in honey that is just as clean and pure as the bees and our company expects it to be.
We at Northwest Honey and Gifts strive our hardest to bring you the finest product mother nature has to offer. Thank you for your business and the support of our Beekeepers.
