I read a lot of science fiction and fantasy ( sf & F ), and therefore a large part of this homepage is about those two genres. It's two genres that traditionally have been connected, but are quite different in many ways. Science fiction is about possiblities, while fantasy is about inpossibilities. Sf has to be theoretically possible when the story was written, while F has to contain some element that is clearly impossible. There are of course a lot of bordercases, but usually you can see a difference. One of the things that has made it difficult to tell the genres apart, where the tendency in earlier time to call it all sf, as F was considered more childish.
