Welcome to my web page! Read and enjoy!
I pray you will benefit as much as I have, from these Words from God,and learn of Gods way. I'm blessed with the knowledge that He is always here, and I want to pass on the Good Word to Everyone.
I have experienced so many of God's blessings. From healing physically, and emotionally,to miracles within my family. Remember the last line in the song,Amazing Grace?"I was blind, but now I see"That is the way we come into this world.Blind to God and His blessings. But then something happens in our journey through life, and our eyes are opened to His great love for us.If we will accept it, then we are blessed continually with His love for us,His children.
But we need to do what He tells us. Read His Word,Hear the Holy Spirit, and obey.God promises to take care of us IF we do this.
He won't go back on His promise, either. If we don't obey, then He says we will NOT have His blessings.
Please don't miss out on these wonderful blessings. God only gives us what is the best for us.
Romans 8:28-And we know that all things work together for the good to those who love God,to those who are the called, according to His purpose.
Grace is getting what we do not deserve.Mercy is not receiving what we do deserve.
The cross is where Jesus paid the price for sin so that everyone who trusts in Him will receive mercy.
Just then the back door opened, a man came down the aisle,
and the minister frowned as he saw the man hadn't shaved in awhile.
His shirt was kinda' shabby and his coat was worn and frayed. The man knelt, he bowed his head, then rose and walked away.
In the days that followed, each noontime came this chap,
each time he knelt just for a moment, a lunch pail in his lap.
Well, the minister's suspicions grew, with robbery a main fear,
he decided to stop the man and ask him, "Whatcha' doin' here?"
The old man, he worked down the road. Lunch was half an hour.
Lunchtime was his prayer time, for finding strength and power.
"I stay only moments, see, 'cause the factory is so far away;
As I kneel here talkin' to the Lord, this is kinda' what I say:
"I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, LORD, HOW HAPPY I'VE BEEN, SINCE WE FOUND EACH OTHER'S FRIENDSHIP AND YOU TOOK AWAY MY SIN. I DON'T KNOW MUCH OF HOW TO PRAY, BUT I THINK ABOUT YOU EVERYDAY. SO, JESUS, THIS IS JIM CHECKIN' IN."
The minister feeling foolish, told Jim that was fine.
He told the man he was welcome to come and pray just anytime.
Time to go, Jim smiled, said "Thanks." He hurried to the door.
The minister knelt at the altar, he'd never done it before.
His cold heart melted, warmed with love, met with Jesus there.
As the tears flowed, in his heart, he repeated old Jim's prayer:
"I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, LORD, HOW HAPPY I'VE BEEN, SINCE WE FOUND EACH OTHER'S FRIENDSHIP AND YOU TOOK AWAY MY SIN. I DON'T KNOW MUCH OF HOW TO PRAY, BUT I THINK ABOUT YOU EVERYDAY. SO, JESUS, THIS IS ME CHECKIN' IN."
Past noon one day, the minister noticed that old Jim hadn't come.
As more days passed without Jim, he began to worry some.
At the factory, he asked about him, learning he was ill.
The hospital staff was worried, but he'd given them a thrill.
The week that Jim was with them, brought changes in the ward.
His smiles, a joy contagious. Changed people, his reward.
The head nurse couldn't understand why Jim was so glad, when no flowers, calls or cards came, a visitor he had.
The minister stayed by his bed, he voiced the nurse's concern:
No friends came to show they cared. He had nowhere to turn.
Looking surprised, old Jim spoke up and said with a winsome smile:
"The nurse is wrong, she couldn't know, that all the while
everyday at noon He's here, a dear friend of mine, you see,
He sits right down, takes my hand, leans over and says to me:
"I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, JIM, HOW HAPPY I HAVE BEEN, SINCE WE FOUND THIS FRIENDSHIP, AND I TOOK AWAY YOUR SIN. I ALWAYS LOVE TO HEAR YOU PRAY, I THINK ABOUT YOU EACH DAY, AND SO JIM, THIS IS JESUS CHECKIN' IN."
Jesus said
"Lo,I am with you, even unto the end of the world".
1st Corinthians 13:3 says 'Though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
verses 4-5 says "Love suffers long and is kind, love does not envy, love does not parade itself, is not puffed up, does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil."
The contented person is never poor; The discontented is never rich.
There are 4 gospels.Matthew,Mark,Luke, and John. Each writer had a specific audience in mind.
Matthew wrote to the Jews and thus began with the genealogy of Jesus, because that was important to the Jews.
Mark wrote to the Christians in Rome. Many of them were under extreme persecution and he wrote about some things Jesus faced in the way of persecution and trials that they would identify with.
Luke was a Doctor and wrote to a Greek audience. They were the intellectuals and needed verification of the facts.
John took a different approach.John's audience is anyone and everyone. The whole world, anyone who will stop for a moment and ask the question,Who is Jesus?I know that he lived, and that he was a person in history, but who is he really?John wrote with two purposes in mind. One,that people would come to know the true Jesus,God in the flesh, who came to give us eternal life. All who believe in Jesus have eternal life! The second purpose was a warning to those who do not believe or reject Jesus and live in disobedience to His word.To those people,John wrote that the wrath of God will come upon them, and they will experience God's Judgement instead of the joy of eternal life.
1st John 3:17 Whoever sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him,how does the love of God abide in him?
The talent to care is the most underrated talent God gives.Loving and nurturing have value that transcends the high-profile talents that put people in the spotlight.
In life's relentless wear and tear,God gives us those who care and share.
A caring heart,a listening ear,
A thoughtful word,a gentle tear,
Will help to lift the heavy load
Of weary souls along life's road
But whether things are going against us or for us should make no difference.
Prayer should be such a natural part of our lives that we engage in it no matter what the circumstances.
Although God the Father welcomes our petitions in a crisis,He also takes great delight in our thankful prayers when all is going well.
Therefore, whether this is a good day or a bad day, make prayer a vital part of your life.
IF YOU WANT TO KNOW HOW TO PRAY IN THE HARD TIMES,PRAY IN THE EASY TIMES.
Job 20 tells about a person who recognized that evil can taste good, dispite being very bad for the one who partakes of it.
Are we careful what we feed on?Is what we take into our minds pure and true and honoring to God?Or are we swallowing the pleasures of sin for a while? We must be careful that our lives are not marked by an absent-minded act that we will someday regret.
Sin's pleasures have such great appeal,
They look like bargains rare:
But seldom do we clearly see
The hidden costs they bear.
IF YOU DON'T WANT THE FRUITS OF SIN,STAY OUT OF THE DEVIL'S ORCHARD.
He said""It shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.And what is that "thing"?It is the renewal of people's lives and the glorifying of God's name.
We want a striking miracle--
We hope God thinks that's best:
But he gives us the miracle
Of love and peace and rest.
GROWTH THAT RESULTS FROM WAITING ON GOD MAY BE THE GREATEST MIRACLE.
