there were 2 models on the show of the dog, not as in models used on the show. But as in one model the Doctor left on his home world. The other model was left in e-space. However the HomeWorld model later would be sent threw time to Earth to help Sarah Jane. This made K-9 have his own spin off. However the series did not last. more soon...
